I love Dark Chocolate!
The darker the better!
My favorite Ice creamery back in Australia had the darkest chocolate gelato, is was almost black. I have yet to find anything like it here in the US.
I’m not the biggest sweet-tooth, so the bitterness of dark chocolate definitely appeals to me.
Feel free to play around with different cocoa powders and fruit, this will change up the sweetness in your smoothie.
I find myself limited to how much fruit I can have, as I have fructose malabsorption.
This recipe has the perfect balance of fruit, veggies, nuts and protein.
If you don’t already have a blender I highly recommend getting one! I have had my nutribullet for about 3 years now, and I use it most days.
The thing I love most about the nutribullet, is that it’s super easy to clean, and it does’t have a million parts to it.
You can also use it as a to-go cup, if you’re running to get somewhere.
This is probably the easiest breakfast you can make, and it’s packed with protein and fiber to get you started on your day.
