Most people who visit Los Angeles head straight for Hollywood Blvd and wind up bitterly disappointed by the rows of gift shops, selling plastic Oscar statues and Hollywood sign keychains.
Don’t get me wrong, there are things I love about Hollywood Blvd, but I’m never surprised when a fellow Australian probes in a slightly judgmental voice “why do you like it here?”

THE LAST BOOKSTORE
Located in the heart of Downtown LA, The Last Bookstore is one of the most successful independent bookstores open today. What was originally a bank, is now home to pre loved paper backs, vintage vinyl and a vault filled with toe curling tales to make you go bump in the night.
